Jicable'15 - Young Researcher Contest

The Organisation Committee of Jicable'15 is setting up a Young Researchers Contest to encourage the participation of students and young researchers and to promote professions of the cable.
Full-time engineering and science university young researchers and PhD students were invited to submit abstracts of their research work. The topic of the abstract had to fall within one of the programme categories listed below related to insulated power cable and accessory technology. Students and researchers whose abstracts were selected will be invited to present their papers, explain their poster and answer questions at Jicable'15

• 1- Materials, New Materials and Ageing Assessment in AC and DC
• 2- Cables and Accessories Design - Modeling
• 3- Testing Methods: Electrical and Non Electrical
• 4- Cables, Environment and Sustainable Development
• 5- Diagnosis, Maintenance, Remaining Life Estimation and Management
• 6- Economy of Cable Systems
• 7- LV and MV Cable Systems
• 8- HV and EHV Cable Systems
• 9- HVDC Cable Systems
• 10- Submarine Cables
• 11- Cables for the Future
• 12- Industrial and Special Cables
• 13- Technical challenges encountered with cable systems

Eligibility:

Undergraduate students preparing their thesis or researchers less than 28 year old

Full Paper Submission

DEADLINE DATES FOR YOUR DIARY !
Submission of full texts : 15 April 2015

The candidates having sent their abstracts have been informed about the acceptance of their submission.

All Full papers must be sent:

• by email (i.e. not online)
• to Jicable'15 YRC secretariat (yrc.papers@jicable15.fr)
• in english
• as an attached WORD file, using .doc or .docx format
• The name of the file must clearly refers to the candidate ID number 1 to 24 (ex yrc16_full_paper.doc
  (A reminder of their YRC ID_Number is available here)
• The full paper (6 pages max.) must be redacted according to the template (mandatory) available from download (click on download)
• by the deadline: 15 April 2015

Authors selected will be exempt from conference registration fees but other expenses (travel, lodging) will remain at their charge.
Papers / Posters /presentation of their poster will be reviewed by a jury during the conference. The authors of the three best Papers / Posters will receive prizes respectively of € 1 500 (first prize), € 1 000 (second prize) and € 500 (third prize).
